If you apply in both Phase 2B and 2C and you are a Catholic, you can try to put your DS on CH wait list.
And hope they will call you up.
If not, wait for end P1 for your kid to get and check if you can transfer, if not try end P2, if not try GEP end P3, etc. -

Wow, it's like hitting TOTO... they must be ecstatic!
But after a challenging time coaching my ds in Chinese yesterday, I now wonder whether the kids who fought so hard to get into the top schools can all excel in there... guess we won't know till they try
DS almost made me vomit blood...
-
Me too, been vomitting blood for a long time..
MSH is also a SAP school right ? Chinese is also in 1st lang
I'm now thinking that I must be nicer to my neighbour, so next year onwards can share test/exam papers with her...hahaha...super kiasu -
from p1 to p3, there is not much difference between those taking chinese as a first lang and those as a second lang. Just learn a few more words which those taking as second lang will eventually learn a few months later.
As for test papers, just buy the whole stack from those selling exam papers. they deliver to your house also. cheap and convenient. no need to photostat. -

Anyways for those of us parents who didnt get into the schools of our choices in Bishan and GY is the next alternative. I did some research and came across this article on GY. Its really amazing how difficult it is to find feedback on this school.
