Yes, Australia is generally good for children. Clean, hygienic and no language barrier.

Although summer is generally good for travelling, there might be problem of flies ! We went to Perth in November last year and my DS was busy swatting flies ! There are flies everywhere, even in the Airport! Although not very a lot of flies, but enough to be a nuisance.

My DS even had a dream of swatting the flies ! He sat up in the middle of the night and said "Shoo Shoo!" with his hands swatting the flies ! Hee hee !

                Hi flametree,

not sure about sydney, maybe see whether any members have been to sydney farmstay during dec...

Perth's summer is dry and hot, maybe that's why there is problem of the flies. Err, not so bad to fly into the mouth, but they fly everywhere and not afraid of people. So it was pretty irritating šŸ˜›

How about Taiwan or Taipei? Is there any fun things for young kids to see or do?

                    Funz:
I always find Australia a good place to explore with young kids. The country is generally child friendly. And seriously, how wrong can one go with farmstays and theme parks and beaches.

China in December will be very cold.
If going Australia in Dec would be hot, I would rather give it a miss. Actually would prefer to visit the Chinese country as in a way to get them expose to chinese roots & teachings. The Ang Moh contries maybe can save it for next time.

Does China have any theme park? Wonder should target which part of China.
