I'm curious to know, for GEP boys studying in ACS Primary, do they get automatic DSA offers to ACSI? Or do they have to take HAST like everyone else?

Seems like there's some arm twisting going on there...parents are to sign an agreement to take up ACSI offer before they would offer DSA to the child!!! :x

Understanding this is the 1st time they implement this!!

Is this for all students or just the GEP students? I suppose from the school's point of view they're keen to retain their top students. I think they lose a few to RI each year.

If got a CO at school A, does it means no matter how you have to go to that school?

can still have chance opt for other schools after PSLE??

the honorable thing is honour the commitment made when the selection was made after the PSLE during October before the result of PSLE is known.

The dishonourble thing to do it to appeal, withdraw etc....of course some schools will not mind, some will make hell out of it, and make you run up and down just to get the withdrawal approved.....

one thing for sure : students offered DSA places will not be able to participate in the S1 posting at the release of PSLE result

Just to clarify for the commotion yesterday. HCI called me this morning as I wrote an email regarding the DSA result out on end July to the school. They told me that they have mistaken that I am enquiring for the DSA for JC. The sec 1 DSA result should be out on 20 Aug but they have now decided to post the email one day earlier which is this coming Thursday.
