My ds is from mainstream too. Looks like HCI did offer quite a number of CO to mainstreamers.

must quickly \"chope\" the students first mah .... else after PSLE t-score is released and many of them get more than 265 and go to Bishan....so must lock them in as much as is possible...many will feel bad to renege on their commitment once they have accepted HCI's CO in October....lol

But they have limited CO places, I thought most would be given to GEP domain. In any case, my ds only wants to go HCI, he did not try DSA to any other school, so we are really happy for him.

Just a funny thot: If I am HCI, I will strategise and make more CO offers to those GEP and HA students staying in the west. Reason: distance and when they have accepted CO, they are unlikely to want to go all the way to Bishan even if their subsequent T-score makes the mark. Anyway, the west is not short of good schs that can supply GEP or HA students too. Hahaha!

But many current HCI students live all over Singapore from the East to the North. Many students do not mind travelling long distance if it is for their dream school.

It appears to me that RI and HCI made more COs to mainstreamers compared to RGS and NYGH. Do you have the same impression?

From what I know, just able to make it to express stream will do. I think that means T-score of >200?

Have not received official letter from RGS yet (only cofirmed offer by email), dont know they will state min COP or not in the Official CO letter?
