I saw the disappointment in her when her friends in the neighborhood asked her where she will be going. She asked my wife why we did not put her in RGPS where her chance of getting in was so much higher.

Hi noixlml,
Yours truly here is also fleshy...hahaha, definitely not yummy mummy.
The hall is hot ? No air con ? Speaking of air con, my daughter asked me if there is air con in the school bcos we brought her along for registration and the doors were open. I told her there is no air con in the classrooms...son added on, 'sorry, no air con in primary school.' -
Yes, my DD is aware of the popular schools her friends go to, except those expats or SPRs who go to international schools. She can tell the difference between SAP and govt aided, co-ed or boy/girl, mainstream vs GEP.
Told her that she can still get to go into one if she does well on her own merit. -
