Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts - Kinder Art class
-
Hi Parents,
for those who has not register their kid in Nafa's mailing list, I am afraid there's bad news for you. My friend who wanted to enrol her kids in the 2011 classes received this mail from Nafa saying that they will not accept new names in their current mailing list anymore starting 1 June.
Here's the content of the mail:
Dear Parent,
Thank you for your keen interest and support.
We regret to inform that there is an overwhelming response of wanting to register for Intake 2011, and we have stop taking in candidates since 1 June 2010. To date, we have 1,200 interested students in our mailing list for intake of 2011. This list has exceeded our projected intake capacity of 800. We have therefore decided to stop taking names to the current mailing list.
Please contact us in early 2011 for the mailing list for intake 2012.
You can visit our website at http://www.nafa.edu.sg/syt/_juniorart/faq.htm for more details.
Thank you for your understanding.
With kind regards
Junior Art Dept

Hi Sleepy,
Would you be able to email the timetable of the NAFA Junior Art? Normally the class is being held on Fri, Sat or Sun. Understand that is a class fall on Public Holiday that is strictly no make up? -
I think 1 of the reason why the intake is so limited cos there is lack of teachers. As it is a professional art school which at the end, a child receives a certificate. The cert and remarkes made by the teachers can be used for DSA in future.
Its not easy to get teachers, let alone pro-art teachers. -

Do you have a sample of entire semester for 2010? Meaning I can see which are the weeks there are no lessons? Do they follow the MOE school calendar system? Appreciate greatly as I need it as a reference to plan enrichment forecast in 2011. Are all the lessons being conducted at Bencoolen Street? Saw that some being held at the East Coast Road.
