Haha -- our boys know that after all those yakking, its still US who decides which school they go to!!
I fed the benefit of proximity to my son too, the same thing as what you told yours...the school very nearby, so it's possible to walk there. He told me, 'whatever lah, since you are the one who decides.'vicki:
Hmm.... I was feeding the \"benefits\" of various schools to my son!!
Eg: This school good cos downstairs our house so can wake up late, That school good cos your fren going also, This school good cos the uniform nice and comfortable, That school good cos can play computer for PE....
I think after awhile my son got \"fed up\" of me and he said - Aiya mummy - Anything ANYTHING - you decide which school!
-
Hi vicki,
After all the brainwashing, my son knows that we have made a decision…so he always tells me, ‘you decide lah’. Same thing applied to my gal…the only thing hubby & I told her is that she’s going to an all girls’ school. Affiliation is something she won’t understand yet. -
spent the weekend seeking divine intervention. the ballot will be held at 4pm today and 54 will be vying for 18 places. This is worst than previous of 68 for 36.

Shouldn't MCS ballot be 78 fight for 42 seats? That's according to Tankee's info. Did you apply for MCS or another school? -

May be some of them are within 1km and within 2km, and therefore balloting only for those outside two.Juanthedragon:

Anyway, wish Juanthedragon all the best! -

tankee's info was based on official MOE stats, which include those staying within 1km and 1-2 km as well. Actuall balloting people for those out of 2km would be different.Juanthedragon:

Haha no dear... The total is 42 places... If there are only 18 places left for balloting out of 2km, it means that 24 places already taken up by those staying within 1km and 1-2km...
Hmm...then it should still be 42 seats, not 18 places.
Anyway, wish Juanthedragon all the best!
