I saw some kids use the trolley bags..[/quote]I heard from my neighbour that her child's school discourage them to get trolley bag.
It's hard for the child to carry and climb the stairs.
Also not very comfortable for them to carry on shoulder (some trolley bags has shoulder straps) because of the weight and the metal parts behind.
My neighbour mentioned that her child's school has lockers.
Her daughter will put those art materials... there.
She told me her DD big bag is quite empty.
Btw, she mentioned that her school is on stellar program.
Most prob getting my DD a bag.
Does MCS has lockers for students?

Hi everyone!
Good to see sooooo many parents here now
I bought for my son a Deuter bag when he entered P1,he is now in P4 and is still using it!!!It is really lasting and my boy is the VERY ROUGH type.Still no holes or broken zippers till today. The only thing is, i feel is a little heavier than other bags/SPI.but deuter also comes in pink so your gal will like that!!
We've got our bag already!!Pink also......
I saw a pair of black \"mary-janes\" at BAta...i wonder if the gals are allowed to wear those!!!?

For those stay at Sembawang, bought at Sun Plaza.
:thankyou: -
Hi funkymonkey
Thks for sharing.
Yes, I agree that Deuter is a very 'solid' bag.
I bought deuter backpack bag years ago and yes, it survived all my trips and is still around.
