you can do PV in as many schools as you wish, but you can register in only one schoolHi,
am a new to this whole P1 registration thing.
my son is born in 2006 and I live near SAJS. Some parents have told me that since it's a very popular school, i should consider registering as a PV even though we're <1km away to get into 2B
is it necessary?
also, am looking at MSHS which we're >2km away.
are parents allowed to do PV at 2 schools?
and how will the registration work when the time comes?
don't think we can register for 2 schools, right?
thanks! -

PV at SAJS for Phase 2B will be better chance. Phase 2C needs to ballot for <1km.Hi,

MSH more than 2km stands little chance at Phase 2C, so u will need to PV to have a chance at 2B (this year had to ballot).
If you have loads of time, then feel free to PV at both. Or you can do RC so you can choose any school at Phase 2B. You also need to consider travel time and the religious values at both schools - SA is anglican and MS is Catholic. You ok for either? -
Wow…finally finished reading all pages in this thread.
Seems like it’s difficult to apply for PV in Rulang. Btw, anyone has done PV in Rulang & WG before. Can share how’s the duties like? -
Wonder if anyone can help me on this? I would like to apply as PV but the school requested for CV of both parents…i wonder what they expect to see in the CV…my working experience? does it really matter if I am a home-maker or the director of a MNC?Thanks

Anyone has any ideas how to increase my chances for doing PV for SCGS.

They are probably looking for skills that meet their needs. For example, artist to help in arts and craft, seamstress to help with performance costumes, etc -

i think when they request for cv, they are looking at what skills you have to match their requirement ...... a kind of blind date, tikam tikam, like asking the parents to try luck
some schools are more forthright to tell you what they need, and you decide to apply or not. if more applicants than amount of work available, then may be must interview liao, and see how near you stay from the school... -

Just like any job applications. Need not be humble but be realistic. If certain old skills we once had is kind of rusty now, better not put it in, or it will be very  if picked to PV for that and can't do it.
