Good that you have other non-academic activities for your DS. I just find it a pity if RSS's curriculum doesn't allow for a better balance unlike in some other primary schools. After all, our kids are spending a good 6 years there!

I think better dun pin too high hopes on the extra CCA....
cos the emphasis in RSS on CCAs seems to be more of those cultural aspect (such as chinese orchestra?).

btw, I was a former Fengshan Pri student. Dun remember them having such student support though, in my 6 years there...

DAS learning centre wasnt part of fengshan pri. Understand they are located in the pri sch, not part of moe but operating as a different entity.

Could you elaborate further on Fengshan Pri not having much student support during your days?

I have heard of RSS asking a student who under-performed to transfer to another school since he can't cope. Are you aware if this is common practice in RSS? I find this kinda harsh....poor boy.

Hi Seagal,
there's no SA1, but there's SA2.. i.e. the kids are exempted from mid-year exam but not the year end exam
