Welcome BnBmum! Both my children have names starting with R. I suppose it is a trend amongst parents to have a naming convention for their children.

            Hi, welcome to KSparents.

Both my boys' second word of chinese names are the same instead of the first word.
No prize for guessing correctly what are the first 2 syllabus of their english name (hint my nick is similar concept as yours ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

But a little bit regret on their name ๐Ÿ˜ž .

My son's English name is too common, my gal's English name, originate from Spanish is sound like Malay.
The center character for the Chinese name is fixed for the boy, must follow the family listing, which is ้•‡ใ€‚
The Chinese name for the girl, whose dad is not so good in mandarin choose those Chinese character that commonly used during his generation, like ็พŽ๏ผŒ ๆƒ ๏ผŒ ๆ…ง๏ผŒ ็”‘๏ผŒ ็๏ผŒ ็Žฒ, while he is consulting a fengshui master for name. If I know we can choose the chinese character, I will definately follow him
Only can tell myself, ppl will know or remember them more easily lor ๐Ÿ˜ข
