I see.thanks for the advice~~
Just like any job applications. Need not be humble but be realistic. If certain old skills we once had is kind of rusty now, better not put it in, or it will be very  if picked to PV for that and can't do it.christabelong:
Oh i see..thanks a lot TanKee.so the CV should include things like piano grade X that I obtained 20+ years ago, school badminton player at the 90s etc

They are probably looking for skills that meet their needs. For example, artist to help in arts and craft, seamstress to help with performance costumes, etc
i think when they request for cv, they are looking at what skills you have to match their requirement ...... a kind of blind date, tikam tikam, like asking the parents to try luck
some schools are more forthright to tell you what they need, and you decide to apply or not. if more applicants than amount of work available, then may be must interview liao, and see how near you stay from the school...[/quote]ic thanks..Looks like whole lot of headache ahead...sigh.. -
If you have skills like graphics design & media, project management or current teaching experience do stand very good chance into the PV. Different primary schools have different criteria in PV selection.

My girls are born in 2007. Am I right that I have to apply for PV early next year?
Can I apply for more than 1 PV at the same time? How about if I stay >2km from the school, what are my chances? -

hi 3CsMom, there is no limit to the schools you can pv in - but you will have to fulfil their minimum required hours to be eligible, some schools may have more than 40.My girls are born in 2007. Am I right that I have to apply for PV early next year?

Read up on the balloting history of the desired school. For those that consistenly show balloting within 2km, you may want to reconsider your choice to be PV (that is, if you can even get in in the first place).
Distance will come into play during registration. Your PV work only gives you the right to apply during that phase. I recall someone clocked more than 100 hours in St Hilda's but wasn't even eligible to ballot becos she was staying more than 2km. You really won't want to be in that position. -
Thanks hquek for your prompt reply. Just wondering if pv application address has to be the same as registration address? If I apply pv using an address >2km but later moved nearer to the school, will that be allow?
