Talking about this... Will you be \"visiting\" your gal on the 1st day of school? Or just say sayonara to her when she boards the sch bus?

My MIL has been nagging on this issue on a weekly basis, coz I told her I will just leave her by herself and it's no longer like b4 when we can enter the sch as and like we want to. But she said my gal will be afraid or don't know what to do. Zzz Not that I didn't tell her abt that the older students and teachers will Of coz guide them.

But old mind still can't change.

Tell u a real life story, on the day my fren went to reg for her gal at MCS, it was during their recess time. There were a group of girls still dilly dailying while the bell had rang. So one of the teachers started asking them which class they were from pretty sternly and told them to clean up the whole canteen as punishment.

Then my fren took this opportunity to \"educate\" her gal not to take her own sweet time in Primary Sch.. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰
Chum ah...!!! My DD is super \"more jie\" (at least that's what DH calls her). 😒 She can be so distracted that the act of juz putting on her shoes can take quite a while. Think I better prep her by cleaning our house first lor.... πŸ˜‰

Aiyahh... I think you are not alone. Mine is a typical dreamer who acts worse than a tortoise. Especially when eating is of concern. I wonder how she survive during recess time.

Once she boards the sch bus, will secretly follow the sch bus till she reaches sch. Before the dismissal time, will also \"visit\" the sch to make sure she boards the correct bus. While she's in sch, dun tik the sch allow us to \"visit\" leh.... Tik IM old timer like your MIL. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

MCS is quite straight about parents going in, maybe its a girl school. Maybe starting maybe ok, later want to go, they may not allow.

Unlike my DS school, is free for all entry.

They got buddy system where the "senior" girls will help out.
I noticed 2 different designs of uniform, sleeveless top and white shirt. Why is this so? The school website also mention about MCS jacket, how does it look like? :?

Went to the sch website but din see anywhr where they mention MCS jacket or white shirt leh. Which tab did you see it from?

Under sch info --> Disciplinary Policy --> Rule 5.3

I was also wondering how the jacket looks like.. but.. the classrooms are not a/c, so... don't think they need it right..??
Wow! You actually know which rule!

                      Good question!
Caught bet a rock and a hard place......
On one hand, it's her first day in Pri Sch, should show some support.
On the other hand, I am concern that DD may want me to be there even after 1st day.
Hmmmm...... To go or not to go....... :?
