My boy is also in K1 and wonder if it is too late to sign up now.Hi Laughingcat
Thanks for the reply. Last I called TP branch they had 2 vacancies so I guess I'd better act fast!
Have you started your child in the class? How was it?
To all mummies, not sure if this question is valid....if a child is attending Montessori CC, would MPM or any of the Math enrichment course clash with the Montessori Math that a child is exposed to? -
Hi,
I think that it will depend on you but judging from your standpoint on your progress of the kid.
For example, my gal when i try to get her to do math, she always give me execuse and unwilling to learn.
Therefore, I think that need to push her a bit.
I believed that you are following up your child’s progress in the child care. Maybe you just monitor and judge whether he need additional enrichment course.
As for which enrichment centre to take, it would be best to call and understand and choose the most suitable for children who is able to adapt and like the environment. -

Hi zoan,I staying at yishun, my friend recommand me this livecube is very good for the childaren but there only 2places which is at AMK hub and pasir ris,
Any comment for livecube and sokomoto?
I heard that livecube is not bad, their activities are quite challenging. For sakomoto, the teaching methods are good but my friend's son who was there did not improve, perhaps it is also because he is quite active and the teacher was not firm enough. I think they are good for the kids who are already good but for average kids, I think my friend said did not see any improvement. -
Hi mummies,
Which centre will you choose for Maths Enrichments for your children?
Maths Hub or MPM?
Any comments?
When should we start? K1 term 4 or K2 Term 1?
Thank a million. -
Hi Mummy,
You can call the centre and arrange for diagnostic if there is any. From there, you can decide based on your child interest and learning progress. If you feel that they should start early, then you can arrange for the immediate. -
Mimama:
To all mummies, not sure if this question is valid....if a child is attending Montessori CC, would MPM or any of the Math enrichment course clash with the Montessori Math that a child is exposed to?
Heyya Mimama, it shouldn't.
Montessori Mathematics guides children with concrete impressions to help
him visualize the number representations he sees in books and worksheets.
It helps him make sense of Math concepts and embeds the independent
nature to figure Math out from all the hands-on experiences done within
the classroom. As with all Montessori lessons, all children are exposed to
learning from concrete to abstract. Hence, while the concrete provides for
visual understanding, the abstract helps make the transition from the 3D
experiences to paper, where it is commonly done these days in schools.
So, I'd say any other extra Math enrichment that you are planning to
send him to would only escalate his learning experience and should not
confuse him. But that's my opinion since my children are also Montessori
trained. -
Dear Mummies,
Does anyone have any feedback on the MPM branch at Pioneer Mall? -
hi all,
can i check if there are any interesting math enrichment program for kids? my daughter is 4 this year and i wld like her to build up her foundation in math. but am afraid if its just math alone then it’ll be too dull for her and she may not sit still in class. any suggestions for programs that can make math more interesting for young kids? thanks! -
Hi
I intend to send my 4-yr old gal for maths enrichment. However, I do not know whether I should send her to Montessori Maths, MPM or Enopi.
Any mummies have any experience with any of these enrichment?
