Hi All,


Can anyone give any feedback on Temasek Pri? There doesn't seem to be much discussion about the school. I'm trying to make a comparison between Temasek Pri and Hougang Pri. My hubby is an old boy at Temasek Pri. We live wthin 1km of Hougang Pri.

So any guidance? Trying to find out more before deciding on what school to place my kids...

Historically, there is balloting for Temasek Pri within 1km… This year there isn’t (althou it’s a close brush).


Suspect that it could be due to 5 blocks within 1km that was just en-bloc, hence the no. of residents in the vicinity dropped slightly this year.

Just shifted and i am staying within 1Km of Temasek Pri. Becos we are catholics, we can also send our son at to St Stephen at phase 2B.

I am confused as if i should risk not sending my son to St Stephen and try at Temasek Pri. However, if i fail to go in to Temasek Pri i will have no where to go and will have to wait for MOE to allocate.

Any comments on which is a better choice?

You can register at St Stephen during P2B, and if you decide eventually to register your son with Temasek during P2C. P2B comes before P2C, so before P2C starts, you will have known whether your son is successful in St Stephen or not.

I have registered as PV for YuNeng Pri School without doing much homework like reading this wonderful site...
I live more than 2 km away....

Alternatively i live within 2 km from Gongshang and Pasir ris pri...

I hope my son could get into any of these 3 schools. Is there any advice for an ill-informed parent here?

No worry if you already registered Yu Neng PV even you’re > 2KM you should be taken based on last year’s result.
