i saw little professors website. looks good, just thinking of dropping by to take a look, no chance yet. have you seen the place? they have 2 branches in hougang.

yes, we keep each other in the loop for suitable student care. i like well lit places too.

just wondering, does all student care offer tuition, coaching on homework, spelling and give assessments/enrichments? i hope to find all in one. is this too much to ask?

Hi fellow mummies! From the web, many of them looked ok that’s why I hope to get feedback from the "horse’s mouth". There’s one called "Dedicated" at St. 91 website say until like very good, I think the first branch was in AMK so they have students from St. Nics etc. in their care who did well. I’m also looking for one who can coach my boy in homework too. I havent got time to check-out, now still at the comparing-address-to-work-out-logistics part, so hope to get comments before I make the trip down. Also have to compare the distance bet. there and ds2 childcare centre, headache! Unfortunately, most childcare don’t offer BASC, the two CC I like for ds2 don’t offer BASC!

Aiyo, u same like me leh. I oso got to resolve my logistics issue cos DD2 will still be in CC next yr. Got to think of the fetch/send logistics issue.

Where is your DS CC?

I oso found \"dedicated\" not bad but haven go down to c yet.

As for your suggestion of CC with BASC, heard a lot of pple say it's not so good. Reason being, the teachers at CC are not qualified to teach Pri sch kids. I have also explored that option but like u, hope the BASC can provide sch work guidance while DD is there.

We are currently staying with my mum so ds2 is attending a CC downtown, but we are looking at moving back to our own place in Hougang when ds1 enters P1. So far, I’m looking at either Cambridge or Blossom group of CC. Pat’s schoolhouse Serangoon is out of my budget.

Hi, does anyone place his/her child in Lakeside Family Centre in Jurong West near to Rulang and Shuqun primary school? I went for a look today, the centre was pretty big, non-aircon and they don’t provide any tuition services. When I checked about the qualification of the teachers there, the centre head didn’t really want to tell me but just said the teacher were there for over 10 years… so I was a little concern if my child can be coached properly and correctly if I were to choose this centre…
