BTW all mummies, read fr the IJ (Toa Payoh) thread that they may consider switching to single session next yr (though it was not planned for initially). Not sure if MCS can do the same too. :lol: Anyone know?

MCS plans to go single session eventually but at this juncture, there are not enough classrooms to conduct single session. Currently, the P2 and P3 are sharing classes over 2 sessions.

MCS will only convert to single session after it has been selected for upgrading under MOE's PRIME programme. Unfortunately, there are no available holding schools in the vicinity at the moment. The nearest one at cnr of Toa Payoh Lor 1 & Toa Payoh Rise is being used by St. Nic Sec while their sch is upgrading.

Every year MOE will announce which schools will be selected for upgrading. No mention of MCS undergoing PRIME at this stage. Let's hope MCS will be selected for upgrading in 2012.

Yes, the current MCS was built in 1999 but heard from the teachers that MCS is waiting for PRIME to be a full single session school. Who knows, maybe after St. Nic completes their upgrading, MCS can use the holding school. :lol: Don't know if the school will reduce intake next year. Still accepted enrolments of 240 pupils for 2011...

Not sure when it’s MCS’ turn.

1) What time does PM session starts & ends?
2) On PE days, are the girls allowed to wear PE attire for the entire day or they hv to change?
