Thanks for confirmation. Memory failure
That is what you did, lah - you only need to check your old posts on ksparents. haha!Jennifer:
I think u r right. We must hv appealed sucessfully, then withdrew. How come I hv forgotten exactly what happened??? Let me re-confirm with hubby. -
fromnuaa:
if you know on Dec 29 you would be successful in the appeal, would you still report to the reject school on Dec 23 ?if the pupil is required to report to school A on 23 Dec, but the appeal result is out (appeal is successful) on 29 Dec by school B, then how to do?

verykiasu2010:
friend :
you have rejected it after accepted it
now you want to come back ??
as they said ..... someone should never return to its vomit ....
the right thing to do is : get the in-principle acceptance of school B first, before you burn the bridges
understand that lots of parents do it this way
only thing : teaching the kids the kids the WRONG value that we do not honour our commitment....promises can be broken...... moral values....nothing legalistic about it
as someone also pointed out, especially for top schools, they also offer to those who did not secure DSA offer - a second chance if they are above the COP and yet accepted the DSA offer from other schools
since you won't know the future, do the present lor ........lol -
I appealed for my DD last year. She still need to report to the Sec Sch on the 22 Dec while waiting for the result. Most of the calls will be by 23-24Dec. I remembered I went to the DD current sch to get the letter and then went to the posted Sec Sch to ask the priciple to signed the transferred letter (she gave me black face of cos) and then went back to the current school and submit the letter. Some running around to do but good feeling lor.

thank all of you for your reply.
for my case:
my daughter is p6 gep and has got CO via DSA from NYGH (interview is exempted), but she didn't get CO from RGS because she is too shy when on interview (GAT is exempted)!
now i have two issues:
1. my daughter is not very strong on ML.
2. most of her classmates will go RGS rather than NYGH.
so i want to try appeal to RGS if her PSLE score is above 265...:)
anybody has experience to appeal to RGS before? need GAT and interview or not? -
fromnuaa:
simple question : based on PSLE any schools need interview or not ?thank all of you for your reply.

you don't appeal unless your score is above the COP, isn't it ? otherwise stay at the school that you accepted the DSA offer, isn't it ? -
RGS may be different ...:) Below is from RGS website:

verykiasu2010:
if PSLE score is above the school's COP, why need to interview ?[/quote]Guess the school has limited vacancies to cater for all appeal cases. One of the schools which required interview even with PSLE score above COP was NYGH. Not sure if this is needed for all appeal cases though.
