Joeyz18,

Yes, St Joseph’s also runs childcare centre. It’s $800 (before subsidy).
You can get the fees info from the mcys childcare link.

            Hi.

Am also considering St Joseph but I'm a bit concerned over the big class size  :?:

Feedback that this childcare is good, worth considering. Fee a bit high…

Have to queue early. 1.5yr to 2yrs in advance!
Try Gracefields Kindergarten near the Bukit Panjang Post Office(Phoenix LRT).It has got a nice green patch of land and is not conducted in a mall environment. It has got 3 hr sessions one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.Teachers are also quite good and dedicated.

I registered my gal at Gracefields Teck Whye and just received a letter that the school will no longer be there as their lease cannot be renewed.

Now I am trying to find a school for my gal. I was looking forward to my gal studying that cos my nephew attends the one at Gilstead and my sister is very impressed with the school.

And after some research, no preschool in the area fits what I want. The last thing I want my gal to remember of her preschool is worksheets, spellings, tests which she will be getting tons in primary school.

                Hi M3,

I'm sharing the same dilemma as you... 😞

i just registered my boy in N2 in term 4 after pulling him out from PCF due to some traumatic experience which i shall not mention here & am very upset to receive news that their lease is not renewed. Now i have headache deciding which school to send him to.

They suggested sending him to either their other branches which i find too far or Methodist Church of the Incarnation. Anyone knows any reviews about this school or know of any Catholic preschool in this area?

Pls do share if you know of any other good preschool to go to.

                Thank you! :)
Hi M3 and happyfeet11

I went to visit Gracefield in July 2010 and was impressed with their teachers as well as how the lessons were conducted. When I read in the papers that their lease was due and they are not renewing, I was so sad as we wanted to register DD for their 2011 classes.

Any idea if Gracefield are looking for a new premise as it's really a waste for Gracefield to end just like that...
                😢

Gracefield is indeed a good place to place your kids there. Have not heard any news of their new place yet.

I think most church school is good, there’s one in CCK also not bad. Only know is next to a sch, etc. Also difficult to get a vacancy now.

Scouting for childcare centres & Student care. yest was my first day to do the scouting and a real disappointment to visit Smiling Star. Shortlisted it as the CC and SC is side by side. Oh my, when I went in to the CC, I was disgusted with the urine stench. Asked the teacher abt it and she told me they washed the toilet every hr... :clubmyself: but the smell is still there. Place terribly hot. Teacher mentioned principal doesn't allow aircon to be on though they complain on the humidity. Not interested to see the curriculum with the smell but still pretend to walk one round. Oh my, see a group of children crowding ard watching TV while some just lie on the floor daydreaming and teacher just let her be. The teacher who shows us around looks so young and can't speak that well. Asked if she has been there for long, oh she's there for 2 mths....so out for me.

A lot of CC I enquired oredy has full placement, so my choice is really v limited. :stupid:

                    Desperate for help now!!! :gloomy:

Yes chatelaine, the one in CCK is CCK Bible Centre.

Opposite De La Salle if I'm not mistaken.
