Howcome RI, ACSI and HCI are no longer call boys’ schools?

In time to come, the same will happen to VS and SJI.
In the old days, boys’ schools have pre-university classes which are co-ed and they were still known as boys’ schools. But although they are still boys’ classes only in the secondary section, they can no longer be called boys’ schools?

I believe that it is still called a boy’s school as a student of the 3rd school in question

          Go to http://app.sis.moe.gov.sg/schinfo/SIS_index.asp
          Choose HCI.
From info there, the Type of Schools is Mixed.
For the boys' schools, Type of Schools is Boys.

In the old days, boys' schools with pre-U coed classes were categoried by MOE as boys' schools.

perhaps just a matter of whoever is in MOE computer room doing the sorting and grouping for the internet search, may not reflect any official classification by MOE

in the old days of RI / Chn High / ACS with pre-U classes with girls…those are just admission of girls into those pre-U 1 & 2 classes

these days, it is more then merely adding some girls in JC 1 & 2 : for HCI + NYGH, and RI + RGS, except for ACSI (where are girls from ??!!)

for HCI & RI, from a yearly cohort of 450 it becomes 450 + 450 + 300 in each of JC 1 & 2, which is RI+RGS+new intake, like wise for HCI+NYGH+new intake
