Time flies, doesn't it? I still remember it was last July or August that you were telling us about you helping out the school in their P1 Registration exercise. It's been almost a YEAR already!...
Tks, ChiefKiasu. -

Really , it is. i woke up very late only after talking with my friend. It gave me quite a shock to be told all about how she prepared her gal for P1.

Tks, ChiefKiasu.
anyway, it's not too late to be a qualified kiasu mum
just to share mith you abt what i did within a yr.
* finish PV in KH
* Change my gal from int'l school to pat's
* teach my gal phonics & basic grammer.
she can read with confience now (i find this material really suitable for my gal http://www.progressivephonics.com/)
* teach her chinese charecters, strokes, and HYPY.
she can recognize more than 1000 characters, all the strokes, and read article with HYPY. i don't encourage her to write many characters as i believe that her hand muscle haven't been fully developed.
* addition & substration within 100.
read & understand all the instructions.
* Most important is to establish her good study attitude. it can make my life easier when she is in primary school.
i told my hubby that i save a lot of tuition fee for him. haha ! -

:udawoman: Applause! And hopefully it was all done in a most enjoyable way for your child. I'm sure you'll find it all worthwhile since you don't have to suffer so much through the early years of Primary school.... just to share mith you abt what i did within a yr.

As for me, my greatest achievement over the last year was getting my daughter to enjoy speaking to me confidently in Chinese :love: Simple goals for a simple man
