Hv not spoken to him on the happenings yet. Just know that he lacked sleep.
Believed many parents feedback on the hot choco.
I am not a good cook. Yet my boy says my cooking is better than the boarding sch. No wonder the boarding master allowed once a while MacD delivery into the boarding house and also parents bringing food for the children. Still no fish served. Sth that looks like custard egg was served once.[/quote]Mine asked for a feast over the weekend -had satay, chicken wings, oyster omelette, sting ray, popiah etc ... ya, they sounded very deprived ... -
How are the kids’ preparation for their EYAs coming along? Does living in a new environment (boarding school) affect their preparation?

EYAs ... what's that?
They already had ASS week the moment school term opened, if I'm not mistaken. (ASS - assessment) -
Just Mama:
haha - cooked him herbal chicken to eat before going back to boarding.

He was v happy that I packed him some \"instant\" eggs (those stewed eggs) to bring back with his cup noodles and mashed potatoes and soap for his suppers. -

I only know there is a French yearend exam this Wed afternoon and a Maths final test on 11 Oct.

jtoh:
Yah lah, we know that.
EYAs = End of Year Assessments.
Just that I'm not sure if there's a formal end of year exam. They didn't have mid-years either, but they had their usual ASS weeks which happens every term. But then there are some tests at other times too, so I'm not too sure.
I think they are quite hardworking in boarding, lah. Save travelling time, can do projects there too, no need to specially meet with group mates. And can discuss the homework with friends. -
phankao:
ha, what coincidence - herbal chicken for mine too on sunday evening!

Anyway, we brought her for local n japanese buffet during weekends.
You can heat up the cup noodle in microwave. My girl did that. :dancing:
I'm quite puzzled with the laundry serivce : my girl send in uniform on Wednesday n it was'nt ready on Friday. She only managed to collect her blouse on Sunday n is not ironed :? Did your children encounter this problem?
