"Best practice" on revision/ study time?

I totally agree; now that my second child is in K1 I have to split my 1 hour between 9 to 10pm between 2 kids. It's really no joke. Sometimes my older one will get really impatient while waiting for me to explain to the younger one before I can coach her.
After a long day at work it can be very stressful. So I reward myself to half an hour of TV time after they go to bed. Just that by then I would have really missed all my favourite show ...

Sign up TV cable or mio TV and pre record your favourite show, then u won't miss any :rahrah:
In 2 to 3 years to come, i will be the same situation as you r in now. That is when my younger boy reaches K1 or K2, my elder boy will then at P4 or P5 :?:
Most of the time, after a LONG day, i ZZZzzzzzz b4 i can de-stress. At worst time is that i ZZzzzz b4 my younger boy, and will have to get up in the middle of my sleep to complete the rest of the task,ie hand washed their school uniform & my shower time. :!: -
LuvKid,
I have TV cable but didn't upgrade the set to allow for recoding ... I thot it's more ex as compare to the current $$$ that I am paying. Okay I will go find out more on the pricing.
Errr ... u wake up in the middle of the night to complete your tasks !!! :udawoman:
Well look the bright side; when your hard work pays off you will find it's all worth it. Sometimes when I see positive result and my kid actually tells me I am the one that made her understand a concept ... suddenly it's all worth it ... On the downside; I have very bad panda eyes ... which are here to stay!!!
