Mid autumn festival celebration at Tao Nan will be held this fri (Sept 17) night from 7 to 9pm. P1 and P2 classes will end at 5pm.

There will be Games Booths, Chinese chess competition, Karaoke Competition finals, eRiddles, Food Arena and Chinese IT and Book Fair.

DS always look forward to this celebration every year. It is a great way to infuse some Chinese culture exposure in a fun environment. Great for parents to meet their children’s classmates and their parents and of course the teachers.

Do set aside some time to go down for the celebration.

Hi … does anybody know how i can excuse a Pri 1 child from school for 2 days? We want to bring our Pri 1 child on holiday and the itenary ‘eats into’ normal school term by 2 days.

Also what are the repurcussions? Like will my child find it hard to catch up after missing 2 days of school?

Can email to form teacher and inform them. Some parents I know have done it in previous years after school exams before school holidays to pull their kids out of school. The notice from school is to discourage it. However, I guess it is your own decision.
