NLB also has some of the comics - not many titles though.

I kinda think that it is hot. According to wiki, there are more than 1000 episodes....longer than 'Ai', no? hee hee
I actually saw some in Toa Payoh...hmmm, the cd shop that is below 'Oldtown coffee'. 50 episodes (5 dvds) for $19.90 (that's the sticker price, I didn't ask them), limited packs available. They also have other cds with lesser number of episodes.

5 DVD for $19.90 is cheap! I was at Northpoint the day before and it was selling at $11.50 per DVD (5 DVDs altogether). I should head down to TPY today!

I only saw in that one shop hor. The box is fairly big under cartoon tray - pack 1 is episodes 1 to 50, etc etc; not all packs there (only have like 1, 4,5 if it's still there). Tried to find in another cd shop in TPY but they dun stock.

in any case, dangdang sells these also - I think plus postage also quite cheap.
I've recently bought it from dangdang through a spree. It's a box of 4 DVDs which cost about $7.00. Shipping for this set is only $1 to Singaproe.

Hi sorry, I really need help with this, like many here, my son is 8 years old and will be P3 next year. He is currently with Berries.

Is it true Tien Hisa is better for kids P3 and up?

                Thank you and best regards,

My boy used to go there. Very good, but the class size is HUGE (at the max) cos there's really alot of kids in SK. I remember my boy's class had 12 kids with 1 teacher (the max ratio).

If you don't mind travelling, you can try Beijing Language School at Punggol Plaza. I transferred my boy over after realising that their intake here is much smaller and my boy had more attention from the teacher and learnt faster. Now there's only 5 of them in his class (it's a weekend class).

Plus I like that they are flexi about make up lessons and even transfer of students from branch to branch was effortless. Just inform them of the date of last lesson at current branch and date of first lesson at the other branch will do. Fees paid will automatically be transferred.

The teachers are all very nice and even the ones who do not teach my boy know my boy and play with him before/after lessons.

My boy is regular there. I signed him up for all the holidays programs this year.

I would say that they are cheap and effective (more effective at Punggol branch due to smaller class size).

                        Hi Mrs Wong,

Thank you for your feedback. 😄

Ponggol is not far from my place but SK is nearer and more convenient for me when my hubby is not in town. I will sign him up for SK 1st then monitor the situation.

                        Best regards,
                        melloh88
