the pcf @738 is good feedback from my neighbours actually i also want to enrol for my son nxt yr k2 and nursery but all places are fully taken, if u wan also can be in the waiting list to wait. So i went to 646 that wan also quite good this 2 centres are under the same area so nxt yr if got places i can transfer back. Actually which centres r u considering in mind?

Hmmm... my gal will be 4 next year so will be N2.. so no more vacancies? Don't they have 3 slots per day or something?

By the way, how much $ per month is this? I heard there are some PCF is more $ and better??

They have only 2 slots per day. N2 will be $80 per month. I did ask before that some centres are really extra $ cause that they provide lunch and fully air-con.
You can consider ard ur hse there is a few blk 408, 367, 312, 227 or like me choose the wan @646.
You need consider fast i scare the later no place cause now already end of sep.

Did you consider My First Skool before? I saw quite a number of toddlers wearing those uniforms... I am also scouting around at the church kindergartens. Do you know any good ones in Yishun area?

I read that there are a number of good ones in Chong Pang... but somehow I feel weird that I have to bring my child to walk up stairs to the kindys there.. cos there so many of the training schools (hairdressing) and those enrichment centers...

My first skool is childcare their timing is u choose either morning or afternoon or full day. example if u choose morning session and they having chinese class in the morning than ur child will not be able to attend the english class which is the afternoon session, so if u wan to enrol in they will call u to choose full day.

I think the Pcf u choose the teaching resourse will be different cause my son will be going to the Pcf at yishun@644 the time 8am to 11am (3hrs only) the fees is $80/mth. U can call the centre to ask did they teach phonics y r fees so much different to other centres. $180 for how many hours.

Yeah, 309 is using project-approach, as opposed to the conventional thematic approach.

I’ve checked out many other PCFs, including 317, which runs a thematic approach @ $100 +/-.

The funny PCF is nee soon south (??), those near Khatib… one branch quotes $70 or $80, another is $160. I asked them what’s the difference, they say it is cos of air con and 1 meal served!

For now, I’m considering 309 or 317… my hubby doubting project-based approach… so I got to convince him too!

Will your PCF have enrichment? Some do, and the rate is quite attractive!

Actually last time my elder son only study 4months @pcf after that he went to cc, but i felt that the cc is not gd so fr 2011 he will be going back to the pcf. So i not sure about enrichment, i try going to ask my neighbours about that
