Welcome Eason! I'm the resident owlette here since forever!

You're just like me.. sometimes i sleep only after sending my
girl to school, sleep a few more hours and then send the
other girl to school. Yah, i know.. quite :siao:.

Like you, i've been a nightie since school daze... yes, the
mornings were a total daze awwrite... a blur. I function
      better at night.

Niwaes, these days not so many nite owls and owlettes KSP-ing..
So this thread gone a bit quiet with them tucking their wings earlier.

Whaddya do if grace doesn't wanna sleep after feeds?

Actually I really prefer a full 8 hours sleep but these days like time no enough.

Now my sleeping pattern also erratic cause sometimes just too darn tired so slept early then wake up early morning wee hours then late evening come home from work so tired that have to go nap half hour.

Since you have school going kids… weren’t they say mummy naughty never sleep early…I wonder if I can continue be night owl once my DW grows older…

Mine has always been erratic. During school or work. 😐

I soooo get watcha mean. These days as a stay home parent, if i'm too
tired, i can even sleep on the couch watching TV and those forty winks
actually keep me more awake at night. 😢

They used to. Compare i mean..

          They don't now. 😄

Plus most days they try not to disturb my mornings
unless really have to. 🙏 Even hubs is quite used
          to it as well. 😉

My girls are already older. 😛 Though i do not sleep as late
as before or somtimes no sleep at all until after 7:30am when
#1 is in school.. i still can't find it in me to sleep too early even
at this last trimester... yes, i'm preggie. More erratic sleep patterns
coming up once the baby is out. :faint:

Son's sleeping habits are weird from day 1. When he was just a bb, his days were nights and nights were days. It got better after he turned 1 month old.

Now that he's in the morning session, he has to sleep at 4pm. I take a nap too bcos nights are for revision. Just getting homework will not guarantee a PASS. I revise with son until 1130pm.

Hubby knocks out at 10pm bcos he is tired after working on his laptop for whole day and wakes up at 6 to prepare breakfast.

Lights out after 1130pm but yours truly here cannot get to sleep near exam period. The stress and worry of whether sufficient coverage is done is worrying. 😢

Since you've done gradual revision even ahead of the semestral exams,

plus some extra pumping nearing exams... you should pat yourself on the
back that you have done enough. The rest is up to him. All the best to your
DS for his exams, janet_lee88. Try not to dwell on it too much. You've done
what you can... I know of a few SAHMs who don't even attempt to do anything..
While a handful from there outsource either they dunno how to teach or dowan
(read : lazy) to teach.. ... the rest just use their free time to zzzzzz...

So take heart that you've done what you can within your means..

PS : I don't take afternoon naps, even when DD1 does. It'll make my nights
and wee morns even worse off than it already is. I come here KSP-ing or catch
up on chores... which most of it already gao tim the nite before. 😉

                        Hi to all

My ungodly super night owls days are numbered.

Starting a new job soon that requires more attention effort and morning hours so probably have to get to bed early from now on...

No more posting at these hours...haizzz...
