aiyo, why u say i telling jokes ?
:!:verykiasu2010:
it is normal to keep emails and text messages
to record conversations ?? like anwar's mattress ?? LOL!
Hmmm... appears that telling jokes is not one of your forte....
:celebrate:
if first time being caught unprepared ..... then second time or later try to collect evidence lor....like that is entrapment or not ?
not necessarily to have done it but if there is enough evidences of advances made via sms or email or phone call must have proof before you make allegation isn't it ?
as to other people say about all these speculations .....well ...... -
I do have a friend who requested to be transfered to another school from ACSI.
The reason he gave:" It is managed like Emperor with a few concubine…"
I guess that probably concur with the report that OTC reasigned teachers as personal aides etc… -
if you have a staff who has shone over the years and after such long service and having achieved so much for the organisation, great leadership, etc, and even for bad health, you won’t simply accept a hasty resignation even after a series of urgent meetings convened to discuss the resignation, do you ?
at least you want the organisation to have a chance to say a proper good bye, do you ? and have some form of hand over to the next person …
the speed of accepting the resignation and appointing an interim person is unsettling to me
please don’t accuse me of throwing the first stone
we all want to exercise and show compassion
in such a matter in such a space, many people have many questions to ask -
I had a colleague who left his well paid job in the US to teach here in Singapore. He was lured here by the prospect of teaching students who are enthusiastic and eager to learn, something he found lacking in US.
Then, he had to make a home trip. For some reason, he made an appointment with a masters student he was mentoring but he did not turn up. The student, who happens to be a very bright top student made a complain. There was an inquiry. He was fired.
He came back from US only to pack and leave. He remained very sore. Fair? Of course not. None of us could figure out why, but this is called due diligence and high standard of our education system.
Another case. Female student complained that male prof was indecent towards her. After the board inquiry, male prof fired. He maintained that he was innocent. To prove that, he took his own life. Fair?
Sometimes, there’s much more than what meets the eye… One question/allegation and years of hard work are just forgotten. Maybe that’s why OTC is so upset that he resigned hastily. Unless we know exactly what happened as an insider, we can never know the truth. Let’s not judge too quickly. There are already enough victims. -

Saw today's report that the ex-P got hospitalised... ambulance somemore... sibei DRAMA leh...
SINGAPORE - Two days after news broke that he was stepping down as principal of Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), Dr Ong Teck Chin has been hospitalised with breathing problems.
MediaCorp understands that Dr Ong, 61, had experienced breathing difficulties yesterday morning and that his family called for an ambulance.
He was sent to the National University Hospital by a Singapore Civil Defence Force ambulance and is doing well.
Dr Ong is currently on leave and was still living at the school's boarding quarters in Dover Road.
ACS (I) sent an email to parents yesterday informing them of Dr Ong's hospitalisation.
Dr Ong had headed the school since 1994. News of his resignation and subsequent media reports speculating about the nature of the complaint lodged against Dr Ong surprised many.
Two ACS boards are investigating the complaint, which was reportedly lodged by a male teacher.
The ACS board of governors has appointed Mrs Fanny Tan, the deputy principal of ACS (I), to take over as acting principal.
Dr Ong has told the media that he had been thinking of stepping down and he had bypass surgery two years ago.

There’s more than what meets the eye. Again, don’t judge until you know them personally. Let’s be gracious and choose to err on the kinder side.
