Hi ImMeeMee, I am here!!! 😄

You and other mums here are wonderful mothers! I am really nothing, compare to you all. I feel lost on dd's issues. When compare to your issues, mine are tiny ones. Reading the post here, it gives me lots of encouragement. Jia you everyone! We can do it!
hi daisyt, good to see you at this thread. actually its always about relativity. Compared to mothers whose kids need invasive therapy (for whatever reasons), my issues are also relatively small, becos thankfully dd3's therapies are non-invasive. at times i also do feel shy about complaining and venting online ...

so no need to feel small. you can feel lost now, but one day you will find your way. just remember not to lose hope.

        Hi,

I have a boy who is also ASD at 6, going to main stream next yr.. now my main worry is how to cope in his new school.

Can parent share how do you cope with the school, teacher and their behaviour?

        Ng
it is in itself a fantastic achievement that your ds can attend mainstream school at 7.

i am mentally prepared that my dd3 will be delayed in her academics. thanks for showing me that ASD children can also achieve their milestones on time. i am hopeful that my dd is able to do like your ds when time comes.

dear buds, thanks for your kind words, and your reminder for me to take care of myself. it has come aptly as nowadays I hardly have energy and time for myself, after spending all my energy on kids and dh and at the same time maintaining a FT job.

truth be told, I have been complacent about taking care of myself, especially my health. my reminders that I should go for that jog or that health screening have gone on deaf ears, as there is always that excuse called ‘wait’. will is not iron enough at this point, and I need to work on that. sigh, but with so many things to do … wait lah.

at times, I feel mentally and physically so tired, and what little time I have left for myself I just either sleep (to catch up on what has been deprived), or I sit there stoned. or go online to pour out my feelings and get rid of them so that they dont hold me hostage.

hopefully we can adjust fully one day, and by then hopefully it is not late for me to catch up on my health.

yes, most important is to be at peace with yourself ... then one can be happy.

                Hi everyone,

                I am cobbie & a SAHM to a 2.5 yr old boy.
My little cutie was assessed to exhibit signs of mild autism when he is 2 but the doctor said it was not affirmative as he is still very young.
Nonetheless, we have started him on private OT & speech therapies.
He has shown some improvement since but we can’t nail this to the effect of therapies or simply his natural development.
I have only heard briefly of early intervention program. Can anyone help me by elaborating more on this ? Thanks !
Is there any good intervention centers to recommend ?

                    Hi everyone,

I am looking at starting my son on ABA therapy. My current center does not provide this therapy. Is there any good ABA specialists to recommend ?

                    Thanks !

                    😉

                      Hi,

I am mother to a 4yo ASD boy, currently waiting for entry to AAS Simei. Could like to know anyone here gives burdock (root veggie) to their kids, heard that it is good for mercury remover.... as ASD kids are supposed to have mercury overloaded in them

                        Hi all,

My DH with dyspraxia and dyslexia will be attending P1 next year.
She is soooooo super excited but I am soooo worried!
I hope and pray that her teachers will be kind and patient with her.
Do any of you here heard of \"shadow teacher\"?
I am wondering if I should ask her school if I could stay quietly in class...
                        :?
