Really? Who bullies her? Boys or girls?cantbearit2:

But she has always been the target for bullies lor. sigh....

Not to worry. So far I've not heard from DDs that MCS girls bully others because they are \"short\" or \"small-sized\". As a matter of fact, DD1 has always been one of the shortest girl in her class every year. Most people think she's in P3...ke ke.
One time he even bit her. She came home with two semi-circle of teeth marks....sigh. The teacher has since take note of that boy so that my DD1 will not get bully again.
subsequently (in N2), we trf her to another cc due to logistics issue. She rarely gets bullied since her class has more (really more) girls than boys. haha.... Thus both DH and I thot that an all girls environment shld be more suitable for her.
Only concern is my DS3. We have to find another sch for him. hee....he is only 9 mths old. When he goes to cc, maybe he will be the one who's bulling others. hee.... but mummy is very fierce lor. :spank: and will not hesitate to use the rod. :rotflmao: -

Not to worry. No one will bite her at the Good Shepherd Childcare Centre.
Wow!! You planning to find a sch for your 9mth DS already? -
PSLE is finally over for those not taking Higher Mother Tongue.
Hooray!!! :rahrah: Can rest & relax already. Enjoy your well deserved break. Wishing all the P6s the very best with their results. :xedfingers:
:nailbite: My DD's turn next year. :frustrated: -

As for my DS, hee.....IM thinking already but can't decide yet as we are considering shifting house in the next few years. Now we are still monitoring the property mkt.
In any case, we will have to sell first and rent till we find a suitable pl. There may be some complications during those time. That's why we have not fix on a particular sch yet.

Ya, still have Higher MT paper tomorrow but a few of the P6s mentioned that they can't study for that :? Heard them talking just now when I was in sch.
Is your DS sitting for Higher MT tomorrow? Good luck!!

cantbearit2:
No, DD not in Good Shepherd but DD has friends that go there. I've heard good reviews from a parent who sends her DD there.

As for sch selection for DS, not to worry, you've still got a few years to decide :rotflmao: -

Hi Tinkerbelle. he was the very first person that I spoke to last week and their services goes as far as Woodlands but not to Pasir Ris though. I'm still searching for bus company that is willing to take up this job.
Hi fmastuki,fmastuki:
Hi Everyone. My name is Fhamy and I'm a dad who is totally new to this and my girl is attending her P1 in MCS in 2011.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with the matter that I have on hand. I live on Elias Road in Pasir Ris and I was informed by the recommended transport vendor that they don't cover that route. I had the same response when I was referred to another vendor.
Does anyone on this forum has any contacts for a reliable school transport company that would take up this job? I'm contactable via my mobile below.
Cheers
Fhamy

Have you tried Chua Bus Services? MCS uses their services. Maybe you can try calling Mr.Chua on 6452 4650 / 9665 4521 to make enquiries. -

Oic. Sorry don't know anyone else. If I find out anything, will let you know. Worst case scenario, are you going to send DD yourself? Good luck.

thanks tinker for the info.

Hi Vivian,
:welcome: :rahrah: :welcome: :rahrah:
MCS has no affliated sec sch so most of the gals will choose schools in the Bishan, Toa Payoh & AMK areas. St. Nicks, CHIJ Toa Payoh, SCGS & St. Margarets are popular choices but bear in mind the gals will need to achieve the required cut-off point for the respective schools.
Alternatively, the gals will apply for direct school admisssion with their CCA, usually gymnastics, netball, tennis, dance and choir. You must excel in your CCA to apply and you would need to continue with that CCA in sec schools. RGS has accepted MCS gals with excellent gymnastic achievements.[/quote]
