PSLE COP 2010

Ler:
I am a bit of confused to chose which school for my dd as she has given confirmed offer from methodist and sota under music. Any expectise who daughter has been through this two school, can highlight the difference which school i should for my daughter. Advise needed.
I have a friend who is in SOTA. She mentioned that only if you are very
interested in the arts scene and have a talent for it, then should you consider
joining it. Some of her classmates who are not 100% sure if they want to
carve out a career in the arts are those who are now struggling in classes. -

It depends on the performance of your cohort because the published COP is for the year before. Last year's COP for many schools dropped because it was a tough PSLE. This year's PSLE being generally easy, I expect COPs to rise at a lot of schools. So, if you're looking at last year's COP as a gauge, then no, I don't think you will be able to get in if you score 2-3 points less than 2009's COP. -

Last year's cohort has 1-3 bonus points from HMT but not this year and so the SAP school's COP may still remain about the same as last year.tryunited:
