Is PSLE so important?

If I dont remember wrongly placing the school is very important and you have to be sensitive on your first choice. If two same score and only have one place left on that particular school both pupils had choosen. The first choice will go into that school and that the 3rd choice pupils.
To choose a school you want to send your child. Your child marks must at least near within that secondary school entry marks. For security purposes you call up that particular school what is their 2010 minimum entry points before you put in the first choice.
First Choice is very important, if yr child’s mark does not reach the school you want to enter dont put as it is waste of your priority.

what's is impt is the pupils' aggregate, the T-score
as posting is ranked by merit,
unless for affliated sec school, then u must place it as 1 st choice.
there are already many discussions in this forum b4.........
of course, one has to be realistic of the 6 choices

perhaps u guys are looking at diff perspective regarding the order of selection.
1) order is important within the 6 choices for the student himself
he will be allocated the school of HIS highest choice as long as there is a vacancy for him.
2) order is NOT important when comparing between two students.
the student with the higher T-score gets to choose 1st even if the school is his 6th choice when his 1st 5 choices have no more vacancy. -
