MLR:
buds:

I'm always holed-up in bookstores when i go out. Can't seem to break

away from the temptation of great finds. I have a fetish for creative
learning / teaching materials too. That is one habit really hard to kick.

Thanks to your little fetish/habit, we get great tips/ideas/resources from you.

THANK YOU..... :celebrate:

Hahaa!
Ya, MLR.
Come to think of it...
Like that say oso not wrong!

Have a great weekend, you!

Heyya all,

Another range of Phonics books that i like.
SAILS series by Jill Eggleton. Beautiful illus-
trations by Kelvin Hawley. Before you ask moi
where to get them, i hafta say i do not know
which shop sells these... I got mine from a bookfair
Cheap..cheap!

I'm now regretting i didn't get them ALL cos
i bought only a few easy to read ones as
my girls were younger then... I should have
taken all and kept till when they are able to
read more difficult story books. So everyone,
learn from my lesson.. Wasted opportunity.
:stupid:
SAILS series by Jill Eggleton.
My kids enjoy this series of readers too. http://db.flash.co.nz:591/sails/programme.html
It has a good mix of fiction (10 books) and non fiction (10 books) at each level.

Can try checking September 21. There's another shop that carries the entire range, including Chatterbox etc... but its name slipped my mind too...

Hi Buds,

By the way, is the Scholastic range available locally?
Yes it is. I chanced upon a few at Popular.
A handful of others at Borders and its subsidiary
outlet at Vivo City called Page One. Wealth of

There is also a wealth of free and great resources on phonics on the internet. Here's an example that was once shared by a parent in another forum - http://progressivephonics.com/ .
