Advise for 2011 PSLE parents

well..there's nothing wrong in preparing your child ahead..in fact..that should be the way to assist your child towards a better future..i'm a trained stellar teacher and i believe your child will learn better through stellar ... i know you are stressed as there are no books in the market to cater to stellar...so my best suggestion is do what u do best..coach your child in the best way that you can...i believe by now..your child should be a good reader and has more interest in reading books ...:)
Yeah, I go by my gutfeel or they call it mother's instinct.
Correct me if I am wrong, stellar's approach is simply to learn English by more reading because English has quite many exceptions, learning rules is no longer the best way? -

Yes, that is what Stellar seems to be. However, my DD's teacher mentioned that she actually feels that learning the rules are important as she realized that this batch of children are not as strong in their English after going through Stellar. She told this to my DW only cos DW and her are quite close as she taught all our 3 kids.
