      Hmmm!!! 2 more days before the kids get their first taste of REAL EXAM.


      The other thing - why they spread exams across 2 wks... :?

          Heard that English is Wed & Maths is on Thu. Next week Tue is Chinese Language.

          DS having some difficulty to understand chinese comprehension. Also maths problem is not as straight forward in SA papers.
          This is SA 70% is very high

            Hi, I saw the notification and thought that I saw Chinese Language is next Monday, 01/11/2010, did I get it wrong?

                Only Social Studies but dont rem seeing Health Education book being returned! :?

                  Class photos... $2.50 for 3R, $3 for 4R and $4 for 8R. And it's not only one each. Hate when schools use this to make money. :roll:


                  As for the exams... has it been confirmed whether they'll be used for anything other than as a gauge for us? There was something about the whole class, possibly including the teachers, going up to P2 together as a group. I think this isn't too bad, since they're used to each other and there's no need to adjust to the people.

                    Can we buy the photo in soft copy so that can always display by means of photo digital frame? Like that mean we have to be chop by the school again? :?:

                    You mean the same class going up together to primary 2? Therefore that is no internal streaming at the end of the term 4?

                        Two sides to a coin

                        This may not be a good idea as the more intellectual ones may form an imaginary complacency mode because they think they are performing well.

                        On the hand, there is less adjustments and weaker ones can benefit as they do not feel ostracize.
