i sent my boy to sparkletot @ buangkok and he fall sick on the 3rd day liao.. then keep crying alot.. so bad that even at home he also cry alot and at nite keep having nite mares that whole family suffer with him so decided to withdraw him after one mth. actually didnt know there is a 2wks trial.. if know would hv fight for that.. sighz waste my $$

now i am looking for playgroup for him. hope to be near buangkok, sk or hougang mrt. any recommendation?

btw, any kind mummies can tell me wats the diff in playgroup and pre-sch?

most parent refer playgroup as 3 hours program and pre-schl for full day childcare. The different would be the programs.

there are quite a few CC in Punggol and SK.


Learning vision is also in punggol. i think you can go to some punggol website to look our for CC.

I have visited a few preschools / CC around SK and punggol area last year '09 before deciding which preschool to put my DS in.


I remember only the Character Montessori (at punggol road) left me good impression, in terms of curriculum and space. Each level also has their own classroom, not partition. At that time, I wanted to enroll DS there, but there was no vacancy with a few on waitlist. I was asked to wait till they obtained approval from MCYS to increase their intake. In the end, I didn’t wait and enrolled my son elsewhere. They have already obtained the approval beginning of this year to increase intake and did some renovation just few months back. There are also some reviews and feedback I have read about this preschool.

You may want to check out but just to highlight fees is slightly higher than other CC.

Hahaha, my son has graduated last yr, he is in P1 now.
I like the sch cos it has an indoor playground (big selling pt to me).
In terms of Tr, my son has had great teachers who prep him well for P1.
As for current, I am not sure.

Anything in particular you're looking for?

same here, was attracted by the playground. Another +point is i find the sch spacious with individual classrooms, unlike those cc which is open concept kind.
Jus hope the teachers are caring and attentive to kids, and of cos like wat u say, prep well for pri sch.

Can you all please share your views on which is a good Kindergarten in Sengkang/Punggol area. I am interested only in the 2/2.5 hr strictly kindergarten curriculum and not childcare centers that provide such services?

Please share as much details as possible, such as teacher/child ratio, curriculum, play area, hygiene…

Kindertots will b ceasing operation in its Fernvale Pt premise by yr end. Yet to find new premise. I was only given 10 days' notice!! Now back to searching for a N2 class. :x :stupid:
