      Thanks 😉

Very happy to be selected but just having some fear of coping. As we heared that student have to self study and be independent and it very different from the sec schools where the teachers are feeding with notes and guidence.

Also, since they have a unique curriculum, i cant send her for tution incase, if i cant help her.

Any comforting words from the seniors :?

All the abv is for the academic part as for the drama, no worries, she is great in that.
No fear, no fear....theatre is most fun except they have to read alot and write alot. They have journal entries.... English/literature must be strong for they need to write scripts. The worrying part is at Y5 and Y6 where you have to write something like the extend essays of 4000 words. Again, no fear..cos you will be trained from Y1. No need for tuition, the school provides remedial if students are weak...not so weak also can join...flexible.

The only fear I feel is being able to sustain the interest in the art form which alot of students thought are passionate about when they are not. esp in voice, VA and theatre.

One in Y4 and one in Y2.

Sorry...this is kinda random.....Rule of thumb for those who can't decide if they want to place their child in SOTA. Ask your child if he/she is willing to spend up to 3 hrs each day doing their art form. If answer is yes, than this is it.

My dd Sota/theather studies confirm order - just overcome the tough decision to choose between TKGS and SOTA, well we have decided to take the road less travelled.

                So have you decided ?

Thanks for the 1 and only 1 reply.

May I know the reason why you choose the later since TKGS is a good school?
