Just to check with parents with kids going to P1 next yr or in 2012. Do you send your kids to P1 prep class? If yes, what do such course value-add to the kids’ kiddy / CC lessons? Is it just more practice?

Maybe you should ask those whose kids are ALREADY in Pri school. In my case, I send my kids for English/chinese enrichment - no maths classes. I didn't send him for prep classes.

I've given him assessment books to fill up some time during the day and based on the stuff he's done, I think he should be ok for P1.

anyone got the PV for helping the P1 registration on 19 Nov?


now the form to chop the PV has to fill in the Year of your child yah... so they are filtering the PV yo... hmmmm... slim chance to grab \"HOT\" ones yah... priority given bah...

actually me got selected for the english catchphrase one. but me too honest to own up that my kid is not Yr05 one... or else me'll ve 4hrs lesser to clock in nah... keke :lol:

but how do you fill up the pv file inside the school's admin office? the child's birth year is being indicated and they will check through.

先斩后奏 ( correct words bo?) @ least for the english catchphase, its for the home based one… no need to go admin office for reporting to clock in the time yah… So submit work then will have 4hrs… viola!


hong wen is using stellar program to teach english yah, is it thru the 6Yrs or just lower ones P1/P2/ …
wanna find out more of this stellar thingy… heard colleague said no textbook to lug to school, gotta a big book to read in school, then do worksheets… so is it different sch use different story books eh? how to know my kid weakness or area to buck up? or there’s sort of report fm Tr? pardon my ignorance …
