Blindfold reading....Anyone heard of this?

I think I’ve read somewhere a while ago that the kids have to each go up to the master / founder (or trainer?) one by one to be touched on the head / forehead? Or maybe something like the master will place his hands above the child’s head. After that, the children miraculously can read blindfolded. It seems that the "ritual" of placing the master’s hands above / on the child’s head is a must for the child to acquire the "skill". Err, sounds quite eerie to me when I read about that.

For instance, predicting exam questions - if you study the subject well, you will realise there are major topics and what are the likely types of questions that can come out of each topic. So predicting exams questions accurately sometimes is based on your knowledge or learning. Similarly, what will happen in future can be based on your past experience of what has happened previously when you have encountered a similar incident occur in somewhat the same manner.
There is a book titled \"Blink\" by Malcolm Gladwell. It talks about how an \"instinct\" or a \"decision\" made in a blink of a second can be accurate / the right choice. It shows how that \"instinct\" or \"decision\" is actually drawing on a wealth of experiences in the past and is not exactly that choice made momentarily without any reference point. -

Yeah I agree and I read this book too. So the older one is, assuming one gathers experience with time, it will become more and more accurate.
For example, I can predict my child's results only because I know her pattern very well from experience....bonding, not ESP. She was in awe, thought I had magic when she showed me her results......exactly what I predicted...... :rotflmao: -
ppnqq, may i know which centre you toking abt? Is there more than 1 centre offering this? I know Shichida has a similar prog but not they dun hv the blindfold thingy. So which centre are u referring to that we shld try out and can sit in one?

No offence ln2912, but you guys make it seem so mysterious and not so transparent (which is largely 'unacceptable' to most public) when I feel that this is so similar to energy healing which can give you the same abilities as well and better than that, energy healing helps in your health as well and the best part is, it cost only a few hundreds. :celebrate:

I heard abt the music thing & they woke up with a ring sound. I am thinking have they been hypnotized? I am skeptic & I dun sign up.
Anyway, $1k+ for a 2 days workshop is ..... & when I tried to google for the so-called founder & researcher names, there are none.
Furthermore, the one I went to is only a $1000 company. Nope, I am not messing up my child's brain. Period! -

After listening to it again though they are unconscious, it gets sort of ingrained and when they try to read blindfolded just after waking up, it is the first thing that rolls off their tongue. -

You may read the feedback from those parents who had attended. They still have NO idea how it was done and what was done on their children, which is 'scary' for the parents. Having transparency and not being mysterious would mean that the whole process should be explained clearly and shown to the parents and not to hide in a room doing something which the parents cannot see and still not knowing what and how it was done even after the preview/workshop. May be you would like to take this chance to explain over here on what was the music all about? What kind of music that were given to the children for them to sleep and what was done on them while they were sleeping and why they were able to memorise immediately right after they woke up etc? I believe if you are willing to take this chance to clear the mysterious air here, may be more parents would be more willing to at least attend the preview unlike now, after reading the review from those who attended, we do not even feel like attending. JMHO. -
