Comparing Chinese Enrichment (Primary/Preschool)

DD used to attend the branch at Suntec City. I find the teacher and staff responsible and good. They are flexible in terms of arranging replacement classes and give feedback to parents almost after every lesson....maybe because dd's class size was small then. Also the teacher tried to introduce extra worksheets when she realise that dd can cope with the given worksheets. Classrooms were clean and brightly lit. Hope this helps.
How old was your daughter when u sent her to Beijing Language school at Suntec City branch? I am looking at their branch in Sengkang for P1 -
Like to do a poll why do you send your child to enrichment class?
My son will be going to P1 next year. He speaks Mandarin well but canβt really read Chinese character. Uses han yu pin yin to help since he learnt it. He prefers to watch English programme and read books in English. I am worried he loses interest in Chinese -
Hi Foreverfriends, she was in P2.

For my K2, I sent her to a nearby RC for 3 months just to learn hanyu pinyin. My hanyu pinyin sucks.
Plan to place her in another nearby CC for creative writing next year. I find creative writing very hard to coach -
My girl will be in K2 next yr. Is berries or Jiang more suitable?

My DS is with Middle Road Main Branch, would be ending at end of the year. Still evaluating whether to continue a not. By the way, yr DS was with YQ since K2? Any idea how is thier K1 & K2 program?
He is still with YQ Tampines Branch @Blk 201E till end of this yr. Thereafer I plan to start him with Berris Tampines Central. Will decide after Berris's trial lesson.titank:
Is your child still with Yuquan P1? WHich branch did you go to? -

My Chinese level is nearly zero so I need to send or my kids will 'die'. By the way I send them to TH and I find them very good. My kids like the lessons there although it is quite the 'drilling' kind but it helps prepare them for their exams.Like to do a poll why do you send your child to enrichment class?

Their K2 program serve its purpose in preparing my boy for P1, especially on HanYuPinYin. My son develops keen interest in learning chinese from YQ teachers(the first 2 YQ teachers he had were good in teaching him the foundation but they had since left) and I am actually quite glad that he is able to learn something extra/adequate in meeting his school's needs. His Higher Chinese result is among the top in his class so far. He is still there mainly because he likes his current YQ teacher. What I don't like is the teacher's turnover is quite high.

I actually find Berris's material better organized and systematic, so I am going to switch him to Berris P2 next year to try theirs, as Berris's timing & location is better for me too. -

Which lang school did your girl go to in RC?
Can't agree more creative writing is tough to coach. Creative writing is for which level?
