      Bliss2010:
      Hello...

My child is going to Teck Ghee Pri next year and am wondering
any1 here goes to this school?

Would be glad to know more about the school from experienced parents....

      Thanks!!
      Hi Bliss2010,

My child is not going to this sch but I can share some of the feedback from my colleague. We just talked abt the sch yesterday. She commented that the principal is very 'hands-on' & will help in the morning at the gate when students come in.

She has 2 gals there & so far no complaints. I guess the principal there is quite good & helpful. They have the 6 thinking hats program too but more for upper primary. Dun worry, I think yr kid is in good hands, good luck & all the best!!!

Hey -- we got a sms from vendor for Teck Ghee Pri regarding

purchasing of school uniform, shoes, socks, name tag, books listing etcs...

This is so efficient i nvr expect they will call to inform us on these things as of now is only Aug 30th 2010...

I wonder other schools' vendor acted in this efficient manner??

          any comments?? πŸ˜„

            Hello Bliss2010,

My daughter is also going to Teck Ghee Primary School next.
I didn't receive any SMS from the vendor regarding school uniform, shoes, socks, books listing.
There was only one SMS I received couple of months ago, asking me how I prefer my child's name to be stated on the name tag.

            I'm quite worried now.
Are there any other parents receiving or not receiving the similar SMS?

            Thanks πŸ˜‰

I din receive any sms too. I was so surprised they print my son’s full name on the name tag, inclusive of his Chinese Hanyu Pinyin name…

Next yr my son will be in 1Aspire. Any mummies or daddies with kids in the same class?

                    Hi Shell

Good to find another TGPS parent here. This yr the school's top student has a score of 271, very encoraging. Hope the school will continue to produce top students πŸ˜„

Hi all, My boy will be going to TGPS and in 1Care class. We went to the orientation and DS likes the school a lot. Just bought uniform and books yesterday. Now busy wrapping books and sewing his name on all his clothes. From what I saw so dar, I think DS will enjoy his new school.

Did you manage to get all the plastic folders? DS is short of 2 colours. I haven't sewn the name tags yet. =P

Last night DS and I packed his books for the first day, wa, very heavy. Hopefully they will be given lockers.

Nice to know another mummy here πŸ™‚ Happy New Yr!
