My ds1 is in p1 now.
btw champion and lkvm, i read the link on ksp home page under education news about MOE appointing new principals and CPS is going to have a new P.
she's from Wellington Pri before this. hope she'll maybe intro more CCAs or enrichment? also hope the school can maintain good discipline.
I asked my son and he said ya, the school did announce that Mrs Chin will be leaving the school. She'll be P at another school next yr. my son likes her, say she walks around the canteen during recess time talking to them.
Looks like if I want black shoes I can only bring it up with the new P next yr. Or maybe with the Parents Support Group.
(don't feel like buying new white shoes for ds1 next yr

indeed! our kids still have many yrs there, so lets hope it gets better and better for them!

champion, what time you opt to see the tr? i chose 3.30pm. we should meet up some day.
this time my dh cannot make it again. he couldn't make it for the mid-yr one as well.

Hi Hi! I opt for 7.15-7.30pm slot...so I don need to apply leave :lol: My dh also not going with me as he feels that I will have a lot to say to the Form Teacher + EL Teacher + MT teacher. He was saying that I might need 3 hours to finish with 3 diff subject teachers...Hahaha so he has no patient to stay with me...indeed! our kids still have many yrs there, so lets hope it gets better and better for them!

maybe i am new to this… for the mid-yr one, i just nodded my head and smiled, whatever the tr said… she showed me his work and talked abt his behaviour. i tended to agree with most of what she said cos he is exactly the same at home too.
(not like myself. last time when i was in pr sch, i was v good girl in school, and the quiet type. but at home will fight with sis loudly, run ard like crazy and play a lot of pranks. haha) -

Haha…Not that Lah - Just that my girl Form Teacher is only teaching her Maths and another teacher for EL and there is also the Mother Tongue teacher so my dh jokingly said I will need more time in this case. -

I am not sure about whether the teachers will be the same for P3; but coincidentally her MT teacher is the same for P1 & P2. -

Glad to have one more member to join this forum. Is your child with Corporation Primary? Which level? Mine is in P2; just finished their SA2 exam last week and next Tuesday will be the Parent-Teacher-Conference. The school is very considerate to have the timing either from 3-5pm or 6-8pm so as to cater for working parents like me .
I plan to register for my DS to P1 next year. What I'm wondering is the accommodation. Do u know any nearby homestay services or suitable place? I really don't want him to travel a long distance to school. :roll: -

How lucky i am 2b in this forum, how abt the P1 Exercise that ur ds went through? Plz share with me abt P1 Exercise. I can't wait to know n then prepare for ds. :nunchuk:
