indeed it was ROMANTIC at then..... If now, asks me to watch sunrise, my reaction will be \"NOTHING BETTER TO DO??!!\"
Something i forgot to mention in my earlier post. We had 1 or 2 fishing outing. At then, sounds interesting to me, followed the group of guys to a fishing outing. However this is not gonna to be what i am keen on, after our actual dating, i will
to fishing. \"Can we don't go??\"
Sigh...guess things are like that.... :rotflmao: -
OIC, so you were fishing for THE fisherman. Need to keep the line tightly hooked on mah, better follow!

yes, had been following him to fishing during our dating. :salute: I even joked with him \"R U TRYING TO FISH A MEI REN YU (MERMAID)? Not now anymore, fishing is not something that interests me, especially now with 2 kids. Maybe when my younger boy grow older. -
We were at Swensen's yesterday to celebrate my 4D 2nd prize win!
A little clarification:
- I'm not a 4D addict, maybe bet twice in my lifetime
- I placed a distinctive bet of $1 big $1 small (ibet somemore) on my children's birthdates
- So I won S$124! So happy that I announced to my parents and my aunt
When we got there, lots of memories came back again on our favourite haunts when we were a couple. And Swensen was one of them. We remembered how we used our debit card (that time schooling, so no credit card yet) to pay for our bills and collect swensen points. And he loved to order his 'Sticky Chewy Chocolate' (didn't really like that ice cream) and I've always ordered 'Coit Tower' (he didn't like my Coit Tower either).
We spend most of the time at his place too. We would watch late night movies at Jurong Point and then spend the night over at his place and he'll cook me nice maggie mee. Those were the days! Now ask him to cook me something need to bargain for it. Somemore got to negotiate on terms like who to wash the dishes after meal.
What did you guys like to do when you were dating? -
winth:
I am a nerd. For the first few dates, I actually brought him to the library. Unbelievable but true. :politebleah:

If I visit him at his home in the east (almost weekly), he'll cycle (with me sitting in front  ) from simei to East Coast Park. Now he said the bike's tyre will puncture if we do the same.
-
The most memorable thing we did was to watch the aeroplanes flying past in the night sky at Changi Coast⦠there was one night, we chatted till the morning to see the sun rise.
And just in time to catch the motor-bikers having a race on that stretch of Changi coastal road at dawn⦠-

must be very romantic, never seen the sunrise myself.
Actually come to think of it, that time dunno why, there seems to be so much to chat about. After he sees me home, he'll head back home and call me. Most of the time, there'll be silence on our ends, but he just doesn't want to end the call. My classmates say we are sticky couple.jedamum:
 but what you guys do there? Dun think there's galilee cafes like the libraries have now you know...For the first few dates, I actually brought him to the library. Unbelievable but true.

Er, we went to concerts and met for lunch at Arts faculty canteen. Some nights, he would borrow his dad's car and we'll catch a movie after we do my family's grocery shopping. (I had started work by then.) Then, he'll send me back home but when we reach the carpark, he'll take a catnap while I just rest. After he sent me and the groceries up to my home, he'll start the long drive home from Bt. Batok to Yio Chu Kang.
What else did we do ar? :? -

When I had done pretty well academically and wanted to quote that I wanted to thank him for the support he had given me, the school's 'journalist' (eg writing for the school's newsletter) said cannot quote boyfriend
