My ds1 is in p1 now.

btw champion and lkvm, i read the link on ksp home page under education news about MOE appointing new principals and CPS is going to have a new P.

she's from Wellington Pri before this. hope she'll maybe intro more CCAs or enrichment? also hope the school can maintain good discipline.

I asked my son and he said ya, the school did announce that Mrs Chin will be leaving the school. She'll be P at another school next yr. my son likes her, say she walks around the canteen during recess time talking to them.

Looks like if I want black shoes I can only bring it up with the new P next yr. Or maybe with the Parents Support Group.
(don't feel like buying new white shoes for ds1 next yr )

For the reg exercise, u can look at this KSP forum, this was where I found all the info I needed too, last year, when I was so desperate! It is a great forum.


Alternatively, you can go to the MOE website. I also used that MOE site for info last yr. There's a link for P1 reg.

I didn't go through the P1 registration because we were still overseas last yr. My mom in law did register for our ds1 cos she had Dh's documents and she registered him in Pei Hwa cos that was my Dh's alma mater.

But it was too far for us so when we finally returned last yr, it was already in Phase 3 for P1 reg. we decided to transfer him out of Pei Hwa. Out of the 4-5 schools with vacancies left, we picked CPS cos we really liked the school facilities and environment.

For the reg exercise, u can look at this KSP forum, this was where I found all the info I needed too, last year, when I was so desperate! It is a great forum.

I would like to share my concern abt accommodation. I plan to register my ds to P1 next year and wanna look for nearby homestay or suitable places for him cos I dun want him to travel a long distance to school in the future. Just prepare in advance, u know. :?:

Hello, guess because it long weekend so most people might be holidaying outside Singapore .

Sorry, I don't have any recommendation for homestay but will definitely keep a lookout for you.

wasn’t too sure what you meant. did you want to look for an apt for your entire family? or just a babysitter for your child?

lkvm is right, so many agents nowadays, and listings in papers… i’m not good in this area, sorry we can’t help much!
