What instrument is he playing?
erhu.
All the Best for His Coming Exam .... Bet he is as good in his Music as he is Academically ....
Thinking of using Erhu for his DSA? -
Funx3:
Oh, this boy is the stubborn one. He won't do any revision. And he won't accept help, and he doesn't want tuition even in his weak areas. He's really weak in science and english. A tutor once said that as long as he doesn't admit he needs help, he cannot be helped.

DSA - he might go under CCA, but no big well-known school. Just affiliated school.

Looks like his Talent is Geared towards the Arts ....
As long as he did OK for his PSLE to get into the Affiliated school, No need Big Well-Known School (= Academic Pressure) ....
If he's like my DS, He'll Enjoy His Secondary school experience better!
Maybe he is One of those Late Bloomers and will Mature up once He got into Secondary School????
My DS Never Revised during Primary Days either but once he Got into Secondary, He Planned ALL his studies schedules .... I No need supervise him at ALL in Secondary School - Can Shake Legs liao ....
Now he's Busy with His O-Level and Knows Exactly what he wants to do Next .... -
We paid about 300 for the sets and some extra game, bought in London itself.

How is his talent geared towards Arts. LOL. It's only music. He is quite alright with math. My elder boy is into music and in his school's MEP but is also good in the math/sciences.phankao:

Getting into affiliated school also requires a reasonable score i'm afraid. Doing just well enough to get in also may mean being streamed into the poorer classes in sec 1 with not so great teachers.
Anyway, I find that once they go into secondary school, we really cannot do anything already. I have 2 older ones in sec 1 & sec 4(doing o-levels). They handle everything on their own - none of our business. -

Agreed totally with U - U Poke Your nose into their studies, Gonna Get Sprayed with None Too Polite Reprimand (Now who is the Parents Here????)
