Hi - can anyone advise as to how heavy the homework load will be for P1? My dd has been getting the jitters about coping with P1 at NYPS in 2 months' time.

She worries about everything - from her teacher, to her classmates, her shoes, the homework, the spelling and ting xies, exams, standing outside the class etc etc. Any advice that you can offer to help my dd's transition will be much appreciated.

Not sure how true, ds told me they are not using the 4 words to represent each house. I do know they are considering to have a new design for their PE attire as, ds was asked to be survey at Lead. -

I’m not too sure, just that my ds came back sharing with me. He told me Mrs Lee’s idea, more like dry fit type. She also highlighted the p5 this yr won’t be affected. Wait and see. -
Just a little update from yesterday’s MTP session.
- Construction/upgrade not expected to start till end 2012, or later.
- Next year, class might start at 7:30am. Await further notice. -
Additional update from P2 MTP session yesterday :
- no more collage in P3 2011, they will be incorporating 'some' of the collage program into the 'top' 3/4 classes instead - due to teaching resource constraints
- top % of level will make up the 3/4 classes, remaining in each class will combine with another class to make up the remaining 6/7 classes - 40 students per class :!: - so students will not get a 'culture shock' of being re-distributed.
- they may be using the old campus (ex-NYK) classrooms for some of the classes - assembly locations may be changed for logistics & safety purposes - TBD
- Learning Bliss will still be in ex-NYK campus in 2011!
