check with the FT, yes she says story books. She did not elaborate if she was teaching them anymore...looks like she is not going to do so....

I believe she will come up with something to \"entertain\" the pupils.

Hi
I don't think it is formed from the letters of 'Radin Mas'. My daughter also got her orientation programme. Her class is Beatrice.titank:
Scott class? U mean they form the class from the word Radin Mas? How about for A? There are 2 โAโ in the Radin Mas word. P2 class I guess they would remain the same as the current. If you look at the past school book, only from P3 they starts to form those Radin Mas class.qms:
Just received the orientation program for my girl.
She will be in the Scott class next year. :faint:
Maybe the first letter of every class, when combined together, will form RADIN MAS. But, why Scott? :scratchhead:
Wonder what names they will give for P2. :scratchhead: -

Hi witty22!
Oh! So, your daughter is in Beatrice. Let's hope more members join in the forum to advise on their children's class. Maybe we can piece something together?
Ready for the orientation? -
Ya! I hope I can get to know some of her classmates parents from the forum. Since I will not be going to send/pick up my daughter it will be very unlikely that I would get to meet any of her classmates otherwise.
BTW, What do they do for orientation? It looks like for the first two hours the students are taken seperately by the teachers while the parents have their own orientation.I was under the impression that orientation was just go, listen to principal intro and buy books and uniform.qms:

Yes, you are right. The students will queue up in their own classes, and teachers will bring them around the school for first round of orientation, while the parents will sit in the hall to listen to all the talks. Last year, it wasn't the form teachers who brought the students around. Not sure whether it will change this year.
Heard that the new principal will be present during the orientation, too. -
I wonder if a new principal will affect the school performance. Because I heard the current principal was from Rulan (Donโt quote me on this, just hearsay). So the academic performance of Radin Mas which used to be average improved many folds after she took over. So I guess the new principal does not just mean change in policies.

Both QMS and my DS are in the same chinese class...

famangelina31, our sons didn't take the Chinese Listening Comprehension together. Hence, it is normal if he doesn't know his marks yet. The teacher who took my son for his Chinese Listening Comprehension informed the students of their marks on the spot.
My son is in the same class as your son but he has no idea of his marks for chinese listening comprehension too. :stupid: :stupid: -

Yes, current principal was formerly fr Rulan Pri Sch. I think the number of people who want to enrol their kids in RMPS speaks volumes of the standard.
My friend did a 'research' on the new principal, apparently, she is more into the 'Green' thingy..supporting green efforts and not much in getting 'excellence' awards. We can only wait and see as our kids are already in RMPS now!!! -
Heard the Principal (Mdm lee) mentioned in one of the meeting that someone take over RMPS her must be of equal or better than her.
Anyway letโs wait & see how the new Principal would bring RMPS to greater heights -

Hi Jen!
:scratchhead: Strange. Or, was it because my son was KPO, and went to ask the teacher? :?
Now, I am starting to wonder whether his information is correct. Does your boy know his marks for English and Maths?
