There was a question in the English paperwhich goes like \"Please look for ___ man in white. He was .......\" Both of us think that the answer given was not wrong....but then...the correct answer may be the better of the 2 possibilities.
I suppose you have in mind \"a\" but the answer is \"the\", right?
Since this is a MCQ, there shouldn't be more than one answer. Unless one of the choices says something like \"a & c\" or \"all of the above\", we should choose the most appropriate one, right?
In addition, the second sentence says that he \"was looking for you just now\". It seems to indicate that A is telling B that the man in white came to look for B earlier. The sentence just fell short of saying that A pointed at the man in white to B.
My two cents. -

Yes, you r right! We figure that the deciding factor was in the second sentence which seems to point towards \"the\" as the correct answer. It was definitely a tricky question.famangelina31:

Yes, indeed. In fact, if I recall correctly, a similar question came out in one of the unit reviews, too. -
Hi jenchiow/famangelina31!
According to my son, Zhang Lao Shi will confirm the Chinese Listening Comprehension results today.
Zhang Lao Shi previously mentioned that majority of the pupils in the class scored full marks. For the couple (2-3) who didnβt have full marks, they scored 9 out of 10. -

Guess my son must be one of those that scored 9 out of 10. He always seems to have ear wax stuck in his ears :lol:Hi jenchiow/famangelina31!

No, Zhang Lao Shi will not disclose the oral results. He told the class they would only know how well they did for the orall from their report books.
