      Hi TAS,

Looks like I am too late to book the Sat 11.50 am slot. I am interested
in P4 creative writing. Do you have any other timings available for that?

Any other parents interested in P4 creative writing?
I'm interested in the P4 creative writing class for 2011, preferably Sat or Sun 11.50am timings.

Hi parents asking about (P2 creative writing),

We have 4 parents asking about it, so tentatively,
we will reserve the Saturday slot (11.50 am - 1.50 pm)
          for P2 creative writing.

To confirm your place, can you email us your child's
full name and state that you are interested in taking
this slot for P2 creative writing? We would also
need you to send us a cheque of $50 deposit
(which will be returned to you when you give
us one month's notice that you are quitting)

          to confirm you place.

The cheque should be mailed to:

          Block 414, Yishun Ave 11, #01-1859,
          Singapore 760414

And the cheque is to be made payable to:

          Copasetic Pte Ltd

This class can start immediately, please let us
know the starting date you are interested in.

The latest start date should be 8 January 2011.
(We are closed on 1 January 2011)

We will move to AMK earliest in late January, hence,
you would still need to travel to Yishun for a few weeks.
(This is if we have confirmed a place in AMK-we will
probably know the confirmed results end of this week
          or next week)

Hi parents interested in P4 creative writing,

Our Sunday slots are all for our English classes
(covering both creative writing and paper 2-comprehension,
            grammar, vocab etc)

We have no P4 creative writing classes. We are opening
more classes but can only confirm those timings later in
the week, these time slots would be on weekdays.

Tentatively, they are on Friday and Monday evenings.

              Hi TAS

since you will be moving to a bigger place, can you consider opening a class purely for creative writing esp for higher primary?

              Hi homeworkmummy,

We actually do not have such classes. However, for the North Branch
since we are opening the most classes there, we might consider it.

If we have 4 pupils of the same level wanting only creative writing, we
              might start one.

Presently, we have 3 more classes opening at Yishun:

              1) Sunday 11.50 am - 1.50 pm (P1-2011)

              2) Sunday 11.50 am - 1.50 pm (no fixed level yet)

              3) Sunday 11.50 am - 1.50 pm (no fixed level yet)

The 2 classes with no fixed levels would open once
there are at least 4 students of the same level
wanting to join that particular class.

              TAS

              Hi TAS

thanks to revert on the timings. I am now asking around with my DD's classmates and a few have expressed interest but they want to check if there are any other timings available as the 3 timings that you mentioned are on the same day and at the same time.

Also, are there any parents out there who are interested in P5 creative writing class.

                Hi homeworkmummy,

Those slots that we mentioned above have been taken up by
other levels. There is another possible timeslot that we are
                opening:

                1) Wednesday 5-7 pm

Once, we have 4 students, we can open that class.

Alternatively, there is another class on Monday 5-7 pm that is
for high ability P5s and P6s where we will cover mainly creative
writing, comprehension and cloze passage more. (grammar and
synthesis will not be touched on much as the pupils in this class have
a good grasp of their basics)

                        Hi BigDad,

For GEP students, most of the time, their papers focus mainly
on creative writing, comprehension and compre cloze. In
this class, it is for high ability students and we focus more on
comprehension and compre cloze as compared to a normal class
where we would cover grammar and synthesis in detail too.
For classes for high ability students, we do cover these 2
components (grammar and synthesis) but we do not focus on them
so much as we would expect the students to have a good grasp of
these basics already. In this sense, this class is suitable for GEP
                        students.
