sleepy:
Which lang center for course in RC and CC?
To teach topics that I am not capable of teaching
For my K2, I sent her to a nearby RC for 3 months just to learn hanyu pinyin. My hanyu pinyin sucks.
Plan to place her in another nearby CC for creative writing next year. I find creative writing very hard to coach
I sent my son to Yu Quan at RC for trial. Course fee v cheap, timing gd and location convenient but he doesn't wanna go for the lesson after trial :x -
Foreverfriends:
I paid ~$345 for a term(12 lessons). Think he is taking 强化综合练习课程.
How much did u paid for P1 course? What course did your son take for P1?alphonsus:
He is still with YQ Tampines Branch @Blk 201E till end of this yr. Thereafer I plan to start him with Berris Tampines Central. Will decide after Berris's trial lesson.
As he is the only P1 in that time slot(he joins 2 other P2 students during lesson), his teacher will customise(give him more spelling, composition...etc) his lesson based on his learning progress. -
Hi all,
I just visited Jiang Education website and saw the fees, it seem quite afforable. I have not called to check, but for 20 lessons- $449.40 for K1-K2 level, which is $22.47 per lesson (1.5hr).
Has anyone has feedback about Jiang Education? My kids are currently in berries, which is much more expensive… considering to switch when they goes to P1. -

I also had enquired on Jiang Education where P1 onwards the class size would be at 20.
Personally I think the class is too big & I prefer to have small group at least the teacher can have extra attention span. -

Do both your boy like to attend the lesson? -

Do both your boy like to attend the lesson?[/quote]So far seem ok with Yuquan Lang Centre. I’m paying about $320/term (Excludes GST) which have 12 lessons & each duration about 2 hours. Most of the RC at Yuquan they have 2 group together, Eg P1 & P2. That is why the fee is so much difference where you are paying $65/mth. -

My boy lurves his current teacher @YQ, so I am having a hard time convincing him to switch to Berris. Switching to Berris is more for me as it is more convenient to me and I really like their teaching material and course coverage.

His P1 higher chinese result is good(to me  ). I am unsure whether this is result of YQ or his school chinese teacher. -

Thanks titank, I suppose 20 students in a class is too big. Actually Jiang is a bit far for me too. May I know which Yuquan is your child in?

I had went through a few language centre such as Yuquan, Xueni, Eduplus, Berries, Tien Hsia, Han Lang, Molin & Jiang Education.
Seem like all about the same but maybe in terms of standard Jiang & Molin could be higher. Ultimately it still depend on how good the teacher is teaching your child.
